North Central Washington Beekeepers Assoc.
meeting for February 16th 2020
Board members present:
Lee Maden, President , Walt Kursave, vice president, Teri McGarr, Secretary.
Lee opened the meeting and discussed a letter he had from WASBA. Regarding dues and how they are paid,
after some discussion, about it, Kristen made a motion to pay them $1. a head and pay more when we get more members.
The motion was carried and voted on.
Ag Supply has been in touch asking for members to talk to their customers over a week, Lee Maden & Teri McGarr will be meeting with the manager this week.
Walt, and Kristen both volunteered to help.
Al asked about the Bee Buy, it is now on the dashboard of the website.
Our first Apiary Visit is on March 28th at 11:30 AM at the McGarrs.
The are also having an Open Day, with a BBQ and live music later on
several members will be doing Hive inspections, and several of our lady members will be giving talks and or demonstrations of things they make with bee products.
We will also have a talk on mead making. It should be fun. Any questions, feel free to give Teri a call.
also, If you would like to host an Apiary Visit this year, please contact a board member and arrange one. Last years were fun!
